You’re the only one doing the conflating, actually.

Hall says that in his view, the relationship was mutual. Yet he still thinks it was somehow “problematic” because of some nebulous “power dynamic,” including, apparently, the “inherent privilege” of being a man. (In which case, any heterosexual consensual relationship between a man and a woman is impossible.)

I see only two possibilities: either he’s been brainwashed, or he feels that he needs to mouth the correct platitudes in order to be able to carry on with his career.

Sue for slander? Conor Oberst experienced a huge blowback for suing a false accuser even after she admitted the accusation was false.

But sure, keep pretending that only “the Right” can talk about a white male being “the real victim” in some situations.

I’m done here, bigot.
